Casing
Pipes
Protective pipes for borewells, tube wells & drilling — prevent collapse, ensure groundwater safety
Overview
Casing Pipes are protective pipes used in borewells, tube wells, and drilling operations to prevent collapse of soil and contamination of groundwater.
Designed for underground installation, casing pipes provide structural support to boreholes and ensure safe and stable water extraction. They are available in PVC, uPVC, MS, and steel variants depending on soil and depth conditions.
Manufacturing Process
Casing pipes are manufactured using controlled extrusion (for PVC/uPVC) or ERW/rolling processes (for steel):
For PVC/uPVC Casing Pipes
High-quality PVC compound is extruded into pipes.
Pipes are threaded or socketed for jointing.
Controlled cooling ensures dimensional stability.
Pipes undergo pressure and impact testing.
For Steel/MS Casing Pipes
Steel strips are formed and welded using ERW process.
Pipes are cut to required lengths.
Threading or beveling is done as required.
Surface coating is applied for corrosion protection.
